The BCPS Charitable Fund

The Bath Centre for Pain Services has a Charitable Fund and welcomes donations.

The fund has 3 core aims...

To improve treatment experience

The Charitable Fund was set up to improve the treatment experience by providing fun and useful equipment for pain rehabilitation such as:

  • Giant Jenga
  • Space Hoopers
  • Scooters
  • MP3 Players and docks for the treatment rooms (initially intended for the children’s programme but used by adults as well!)

To support research and staff training

Research programme into Autistic Spectrum Disorders in people with Chronic Pain.

Representation at the Annual Scientific Meeting of International Study of Paediatric Pain – sub group of the International Association for the Study of Pain.

Staff training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

To facilitate communication between health professionals and service users

This website is supported by the Charitable Fund.

A series of leaflets about Complex Regional Pain Syndrome have also been produced.
