The BCPS is a centre of excellence for the provision of rehabilitation services for adults, young adults and children with chronic pain and pain associated disability. The BCPS has been delivering these services for 18 years and continues to work to improve the interventions we offer through reflective clinical practice and our research programme.

The BCPS treatment model enables people to reduce their disability and increase function, lead a more values led lifestyle and improve mood.

All our treatments promote a self-management approach which aims to:reduce the need for local services on discharge from BCPSreduce local long-term care costsenable people to utilise the services they do require more effectively and have more realistic expectations of servicesguide the development of effective and reduced social care packages
